Do you remember your first goal, score or win when you played school sport and how did it feel?

I don’t remember specifically the first goal, I have scored for my high school (grades 9-12), however I do remember certain important goals throughout my high school career that I will forever remember. Being able to represent my school through sport gave me so much pride and joy.

What’s your fondest memory of playing sport at school?

My fondest memory of playing sport at school would definitely be when our team won our first regional championship ever in school history.

How old were you when it ‘clicked’ that you wanted to be a professional sports player?

From a very young age I fell in love with soccer. I would say around the age of 10 when I started playing club and developing I knew from then on that I wanted to try and play professional soccer. It definitely feels great being able to say that I have accomplished a big goal of mine that I have had for so long. Being able to tell people that I am a professional soccer player will never get old to me. It is so exciting and I am extremely blessed to be able to do what I love so much for my job.

What are your top three tips to children about playing sport?

1. Learn as much as you can! Don’t be afraid to ask questions or ask for help!

2. Always compete!

3. Play sport for the love of the game. Don’t forget to have fun.
